Learning Outcomes:
This term we have been learning how to play some new songs on the keyboard, guitar,
ukulele
ukulele
and the bucket drums.
We learnt to play the song “Sunflower” using chords on the ukulele.
We also learnt how to read guitar tab and we played “Eye of the Tiger”.
On the keyboard, we had the opportunity to learn to play lots of songs including the
Minecraft theme, the Avengers theme, the Halo theme, the Game of
Thrones theme and many more.

The instrument I enjoy playing the most is… The Saxophone (from out of school)
I liked playing this instrument the most because… Playing the saxophone is relatively easy and when it gets challenging, I have guidance from my tutor.
Next time I would like to learn to play... The full Pink Panther Theme. I can play verse one and verse two but I would like to build on that.

ReplyDeleteAyla, you were a super star with the saxophone in the band this year. It was great to see you performing on stage at bandquest and I was so impressed with the way that you learnt to play the songs so quickly and easily. I could tell that you were listening carefully as you played to make sure you were playing in tune and in time with the rest of the band. I would love to hear you playing the whole of the Pink Panther, let me know when you have learnt it all and you could come and perform it.
